David Shieff
David Shieff has experience over a wide range of management and market research approaches in many industries, including insurance, transportation, banking, healthcare, food supply, and telecommunication.
This has included working with senior management to design and facilitate strategic business planning processes, and on qualitative and quantitative research with customers, suppliers, employees, managers, and subject matter experts. David has also worked on many employee research projects where he has undertaken this work to identify the drivers of both employee loyalty and customer focus.
A graduate of University of Auckland, David has honed his skills with extensive general management and practical sales and marketing experience, including brand management. This is complemented by his academic work at the University of Auckland and his broadly based industry experience. David's experience means he can apply practical lessons learned on Customer Value projects to ensure projects take hold and yield business benefits.
David has been involved in the development and implementation of customer value management programmes in companies in the telecommunications, insurance and pharmaceutical sectors in Australia, New Zealand Asia and the UK. He has also been involved in the development of associated People Value Added employee research projects, working with client management teams to boost staff morale and reduce churn, or to increase alignment with the customer within organisations.
