Owen Mayall
Owen is the principal of Link Research Limited which specialises in market research, analysis and modelling. Clients include companies in the Insurance, Packaging, Communication, Building, and Medical Supplies industries.
Link Research works in association with Rodger Gallagher of Customer Value Management New Zealand and Ray Kordupleski of Customer Value Management Incorporated using Customer Value Added techniques. Over the last twenty years Owen has held management positions in both the agriculture industry and the telecommunications industry.
During the last 6 years Owen has been managing market research and process measurement projects. From 1995 to 1998 he managed all market research undertaken by Livestock Improvement Corporation of New Zealand as their Statistics Manager, and worked on the development of the New Zealand dairy industry predictive econometric model.
Livestock Improvement Corporation is the world leader in this field.
At Telecom New Zealand from 1993 to 1995 he managed the market customer satisfaction and customer value research programme. The customer value research programme was developed in conjunction with Ray Kordupleski of AT&T. All operational aspects of the research were managed including econometric analysis of the data. This assignment included a major project to review, update, and redesign these surveys for Telecom New Zealands Chief Operating Officer.
Previous assignments with Telecom New Zealand included various positions in Technical Sales support and Sales management roles.
Owen graduated from the University of Waikato in 1992 with a Bachelor of Management Studies (Honours) majoring in Marketing. He lives in Hamilton New Zealand, and is married with six children.
